Archaeology and History of Arts at the University of Athens
Nikoletta Palaiologou is from Patras, a big city – harbor on the north of Peloponnese. She has studied Archaeology and History of Arts at the University of Athens where she also obtained her master’s degree in Museum Studies.
“I am highly motivated by the idea of communicating the beauty and the essence of ancient and modern Greek culture, to people of all ages, from all over the world who wish to discover my country.”
For many years she had been working as a fixed-term employee in various archaeological and museum projects of the Greek Ministry of Culture and as a lecturer teaching Museology in the Technological Institution of Western Greece and other educational institutions.
However, her passion for the study and interpretation of material culture, for museum communication and education, for heritage and cultural storytelling, made her attend the official seminars on the profession of tourist guiding and follow a career as a tourist guide.
